1. In photoshop, I learned how to posterize, use filters, edit gradient map and manipulate backgrounds to created lines across the faces. It was difficult to create even lines for the border around the poster. 2. I drew my inspiration from Shepard Fairey and his Obama "Hope" posters. I drove meaning from this posters and used them to embassies that victim blaming is a political issue. 3. Initially the piece was only going to be one poster but the message wasn't conveyed enough. I also change the the pink color from red to make the piece more my own. I moved and resized Oprah's head so all the posters had similar sized heads 4. Next time I would like to use faces with more contrast or take time to contour them in order for the faces to be more distinct after I blocked the colors. 5. The common thread in my pieces is women. In this piece I added a more feministic view into my piece and this is likely a view I will continue through my next pieces.
