1. Define which techniques you tried and mastered? Struggled? - In this piece I worked on a underwater photography technique and managed to get a reflection of the turtle on the water when I took the photo. 2. How did you draw inspiration from other artists techniques or aesthetics in your work? In what ways did you derive meaning or gain historical perspectives from their work? Why these artists? -I've seen many underwater photos online and from those have seen light reflections under the water as well as reflections onto the top of the water, which I aimed for in this piece. 3. Describe the evolution of your piece. Decisions made. Compositional elements. -Initially, I had only intended on using the original photograph but I did edit the tone of the piece to make it lighter which beatified the picture. 4. If you could consider doing something over, explain why you would do this and what you would do next time? -Next time I would only edit the background and leave the turtle untouched to create more value. 5. Elaborate on how this piece links with your other pieces? What is the common thread? -In this piece I focused on nature like I did in my first two projects.
